How am I holding up? So far the transition to online/ zoom classes has been extremely hard for me. I am a very bad online student and chose not to take online classes because i tend to be very spacey and am absolutely horrible at looking at discussion boards and checking my emails. I am still very confused on assignments in my classes and the updated due dates they are supposed to be submitted by. I have a feeling this is going to be a rough semester. So far covid-19 has not impacted me too much except for the fact my wifi is terrible at home and i have a hard time logging on to do homework assignments. I have had to sit in the Starbucks parking lot a couple times in order to steal their wifi and work on assignments in my car. lol. I do not have any immediate family in the medical field but i have been hearing stories from friends who do and this virus is causing exhausting inhumane hours for them. I am also a little bummed I do not qualify for Trumps stimulus plan money because my parents filed me as a dependent and I am over the age of 16 so they do not receive any money for me ether. I think this plan is a little confusing and it is totally screwing over many college students, i have seen a lot of students raging about it on social media. I heard we are in potential to engage in martial law where government can use military control in order to keep us quarantined in our houses and i really hope we do not get to this point. Hopefully we can overcome this pandemic very quickly and return to “normal” life functions. I wonder how everyday life will presume after this and what changes will be made.
