My issue is artificial light and air pollution and it was pretty easy to find protest signs in favor of diminishing light pollution and respecting mother nature more than we are currently doing but it was a little trickier to find protests against supporting the ideas of doing your part to help clear the ozone layers. The first protest sign I posted is in favor of helping our ozone layer. Many people are pictured wearing protective masks and holding various signs. The most bold sign saying “Wake up and Smell The Smog” is trying to make people aware of the smog we are breathing in on a daily basis and what actions we need to take to make changes to our society and make breathing easier. The second sign is the closest argument I could find against taking action and it reads  “Electric cars don’t leave scars” which can be arguably untrue as these cars also give off emissions that can be negative for our environment. It was pretty difficult to find a protest against protecting our skies because I do not think there are many protests for people who are in favor of the destruction of the ozone layer and enjoy having trouble breathing on a daily basis. If I was going to create my own protest sign I would consider having it say something along the lines of “Turn off the lights and turn on the stars”. I would create a sign like this to try and spread awareness to others that if we turn off more artificial lights more regularly we can actually view and see the brightness of the stars to their full extent.
